It is the only seven-year, co-educational Catholic school on the Eastside, and offers a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum.

JOB SUMMARY

The High School Assistant Principal is a key member of Eastside Catholic’s Administrative Team and reports directly to the High School Principal. Together, these administrators collaborate to support all aspects of the high school experience, including curriculum oversight providing support to students, families and faculty. The position is effective July 1, 2025.

Specific Responsibilities

· Support the High School Principal and administrative staff to oversee daily operations of the high school and broader school community

· Oversee the deans of students, high school and college counselors and Student Life Department ensuring comprehensive student support, coordinating academic and social-emotional learning and effectively communicating with families about student progress and experiences

· Assist in developing the high school curriculum scope and sequence

· Participate in the interviewing and hiring of high school faculty

· Collaborate with the Admissions Team to review high school applicants, ensuring a mission-aligned, well-balanced incoming class

· Provide classroom coverage, proctor testing and fill in for other oversight roles as needed

· Perform additional duties as assigned based on school needs

· Be available to attend evening and weekend school events as needed

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree required or in process, principal certificate preferred
  • Experience  as a school administrator preferred
  • Experience teaching students with diverse learning styles and needs
  • Strong organizational, administrative and managerial skills
  • Experience working in a diverse community or working collaboratively to engage youth in community-building, social and environmental justic

 

Salary Description
$90,000 – $105,000 annually
