Bus Driver- Part Time

Purpose:

Jesuit education, also known as Ignatian education, is an approach to education inspired by the teachings and principles of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), a Catholic religious order. The Bus Driver is responsible for transporting students from various meeting points to school in the mornings, and to afternoon events and sports practices and contests.    This position is part-time and hours will vary.

Minimum qualifications:
• A High School Diploma and a minimum of two years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job

A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a School Bus endorsement (S) is required for all drivers.
• All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Prep’s mission and values, especially as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
• Supportive of the mission of a Catholic, Jesuit high school and formation of the whole person
• All employees must complete a criminal history background check and safe environment training upon hire and every 3 years

Compensation & Benefits:
Regular hourly rate:  $54.49
Standby rate:  $33.86
Weekend:    $81.27
Standby Weekend    $50.94
